Hey guys!
I'm extreme party person and I spent basically every Friday or Saturday in summer in some club or a bar. Therefore I know a lot of Czech party places so I've decided to dedicate a whole section of posts to this fun stuff.
I think that starting with my favorite place is a perfect idea but honestly thinking about my favorite club or bar was a bit hard and I had a hard time deciding of which place I wanna write about first. But sit down, take some tea (or wine, it depends), get comfy and read my post in a comfy position.
So, the first party place I'm gonna talk about is a club called Double Trouble. The name is great, huh? It makes a lot of sense to me and my friends...ANYWAY, this club is located on the street called Melantrichova number 970/17 (map here). I have to tell that the location is not the best even tho it's really close to Old Town square. It's a bit outta the way so in this time of the year (cold and rainy aka. autumn in Prague) not many people are there. But if you come to this club between May and the end of August you'll end up in extremely crowded Double Trouble. This time of the year this club is not really fun so I'm gonna talk about the summertime here cause that makes DT the best club for me.
I'm gonna start with a little storytime here, okay? The first time I wanted to go to Double Trouble was with my friends Julie, Sondre, and Irene in April. But it didn't work out..cause of some issues. But the first time I really got there was again with Julie but this time it was also with my other friend Veronika. We spend few tens of minutes there and it was awesome. They have many different cocktails or alcohol in general and there are often really great looking barmen, just sayin'...
I love their BIG cocktails, called Double Cocktails, it's I guess like a 40 cm big bottle and it's much better than normal little cocktails. And why? These big bottles have a lid on and a straw. You don't have to pay that much of an attention to your drink then, just covering your straw with a thumb and you can easily dance or lay on a bar or something, depends on your preference or your alcohol status.
My fav there is Sex on the beach or Cuba Libre, I highly recommend 'em.
And if you consider working as a go-go dancer or you just want attention (or you are ridiculously drunk) in this club they have strip poles or dance poles. I don't think they will let you strip there but it's so much fun even without taking your clothes off.
If I would have to rate it I would give it 4 stars outta 5. I think they still have few things to be better at but I really like this club.
